School Safety Reminder

As students walk or ride wheeled devices to and from school each day, please remind them to be safe and respectful members of our community. We ask students to stay on sidewalks, use designated crosswalks, and avoid walking through private property. This includes staying out of neighbors' yards, driveways, and flower beds.

By respecting others' property and following safe walking practices, we can help keep everyone safe and maintain positive relationships with our community. Thank you for your support and partnership!

Pick-up and Drop-off Procedures - Reminder

We’ve received quite a few questions about our pick-up and drop-off procedures, and we realize we have many new families who may not have received our traffic map and information. Please take a moment to review the attached map and information so everyone is familiar with the procedures.

Our top priority is keeping all of our students safe. We work hard to follow the established traffic and pick-up/drop-off procedures, and we ask that all families do the same. We also appreciate your patience, kindness, and respect toward our staff as they help keep traffic moving and our students safe.

Thank you for helping us make arrival and dismissal as safe and smooth as possible!

6th Grade - SHARP Survey

  • Between October 1–30, Endeavour Elementary will administer the Student Health and Risk Prevention (SHARP) Survey to students in 6th grade. SHARP has given us insight into what our students are facing for more than 20 years, helping parents know what to talk about with their kids and helping schools, health departments, and community partners better support students.
  • Only students whose parents gave consent earlier this year, during the registration processes, will take part. Participation is voluntary, students may skip questions or stop at any time without penalty. All responses are anonymous and confidential. For more information, visit the district's Assessment & Surveys page. For SHARP FAQs and statewide results, visit sumh.utah.gov/data-reports/sharp-survey.

What is the Book Battle?

The Book Battle is a quiz-show style competition where teams of five students compete to answer questions from 15 selected books. Students will read the books and be prepared to answer questions about the title, author, characters, settings, etc. Students from across the district will compete at a district Book Battle in the Spring of 2027. We will also have All-Stars teams of Book Battle students who will compete against teams of awesome Endeavour teachers in the spring. We hold regular practices throughout the year to prepare for these book battles!

How do I Participate?

Students do NOT need to read all 15 books to participate, but they should be prepared to read at least three throughout the year. There is no cost to participate in the program. Students who are interested in participating as a member of Endeavour’s team will fill out a short online quiz for each book they have read from the list (quizzes are available on the Endeavour Library website and students can begin filling them out now). They will also attend the practice meetings. Students will receive buttons for every book from the list they read. The All-Stars teams and the teams that Endeavour sends to the District Book Battle will be chosen in early March.

We will also put up a “Hall of Fame” for book readers—including teachers! You move up when you have read five, ten, or fifteen books.

Where can I find the books?

There are several copies of the books at Endeavour’s library. You can also check books out from the Davis County Libraries. Most titles should also be available for purchase from retailers.
