Welcome Back!
We are so excited to welcome our students back to Avon Grove Middle School for the 2026–2027 school year! We are looking forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, connection, and new opportunities.
As you prepare for the start of the school year, here are a few important dates to add to your calendar:
- Monday, August 24: First Day of School
- Friday, August 28: No School for Students
- Wednesday, September 2: Back to School Night
- 6:15 PM: Optional Administration Presentation
- 6:30–8:00 PM: Classroom Program
- Friday, September 4–Monday, September 7: Schools Closed in Observance of the Labor Day Holiday
We can't wait to see our students and families back at AGMS! Welcome back, and here's to a great school year!
AGMS was excited to welcome incoming 6th grade students and newly enrolled students to Transition Camp! Approximately 300 students attended, and it was incredible to see their confidence grow throughout the morning. Many students arrived a little nervous and unsure of what to expect, but they left feeling more connected, comfortable, and confident about starting the school year!
A huge thank you to all of our families who came out for Open House! Despite the weather, AGMS families showed up in a big way. We loved seeing so many families in the building!
All student athletes in 7th & 8th Grade interested in playing a fall sport at AGMS must have all required paperwork submitted prior to the first day of tryouts or practice. Please see the link HERE for more information.
