With the exception of the visual artists, all students attend both performances.

Visual Artists: Ushers

  • Ushers - are the only students who are scheduled to attend 1 performance night. They have a showcase of their artwork in the lobby, hand out programs and guide students to seats. All Visual Artists are brought on-stage to bow at the end of the performance!

Visual Arts: Tech

  • Tech Team - manage audio from the sound booth or act as Stage Crew

Dancers - perform both nights

Ensemble - groups of students who sing/act; all perform both nights

Principal/Lead Actors

  • Most perform only one night but attend both to cover in an emergency, so it is essential they attend both nights! Some may act with the Ensemble groups on their off night. They get front row seats to watch and support the opposite cast. Parents are welcome to pick up after the event if they cannot attend the performance.

Miller Symphony hall seats 1100, so tickets are not necessarily limited. Since we don't charge for tickets, we still ask that families only request the number you need. If your child is on-stage for both performances and you wish to attend both nights, we ask that you limit tickets for one of the evenings if possible.

Our grades 4 & 5 families are invited to reserve seats before our K-3 community and other invited guests.

  • Tickets, sent home in the form of a bracelet, are required for all guests who need a seat at the performance.
  • There is no cost for admission.
  • 4th & 5th grade students do not need a ticket.
  • Small children who can sit in an adults lap do not require a ticket.
  • Guests without tickets will not be permitted entry.

CALLING ALL MAKEUP ENTHUSIASTS! CALLING ALL MAKEUP ENTHUSIASTS!

We have 101 students who will grace the Miller Symphony Hall stage between both evening performances! Our lead actors need stage makeup, but nearly all students, including our visual artists, are usually excited to have it done. We have not been able to get to everyone ourselves, so we can use your help!

The makeup sessions would be between the hours of 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, when all students are in the building to eat, get into costume and relax a bit before leaving for the performance. Lead actors will need more traditional stage/character makeup, while our Dancers and Ensemble actors may have prefer a little less.

Makeup staff and parents will be set up in the cafeteria and students will come up in small groups. Makeup is provided.

Clearances are preferred but not required. Please bring your drivers license to be scanned.
