Use this question each week to engage your student at home with the learning that your is doing at school.

Kindergarten

Read or listen to a story together. Ask your child to identify the character and the setting.

1st Grade

Ask your child: What is informational writing?

2nd Grade

Ask your child to tell you who Tony Sarg was and why he was an important person in history.

3rd Grade

Talk with your child about a family tradition your family celebrates during the holiday season.

4th Grade

Look around your home or outside. Can your child find anything that moves like a transverse wave or a longitudinal wave?

5th Grade

Ask your child to explain how Earth’s rotation causes day and night.

Week 15: Holiday Safety (Home and School) "Joyfully Safe Celebrations"

This festive season brings parties, decorations, and excitement. Remind children to keep holiday lights and cords away from water, never play with candles, and be cautious around ornaments or decorations. At school, we’ll review behavior expectations for assemblies and special events to keep celebrations safe and enjoyable.
