As the holiday season approaches and winter break draws near, I want to extend my warmest wishes to your family. Being part of Gering Public Schools is truly something special. Whether we’re enjoying a holiday performance at the Midwest Theater or cheering on our students at activities across the district, these moments remind me just how deeply this community cares for children.

The success we’re seeing across our schools doesn’t happen by chance. Our teachers, staff, and leaders work tirelessly each day to create classrooms where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired. And none of that progress would be possible without you—our families—along with our Board of Education and the many community partners who stand beside us. Your encouragement, involvement, and trust make a meaningful difference.

As we enter winter break, I invite you to take a moment to explore our 2024–2025 Annual Report, linked in this newsletter. This overview highlights the growth and accomplishments we’ve achieved together—in academics, finance, and community engagement.

Celebrating Our Legacy of Pride and Future of Promise

We’re excited to share this year’s Gering Public Schools Annual Report—a look at the growth, achievements, and Bulldog pride shaping our district. From two buildings growing in academic classifications to opening a Bulldog-built preschool, this year reflects meaningful progress in academics, career pathways, student leadership, and activities.

New this year, a printed copy of the annual report will be mailed to households within the Gering Public Schools district. This update comes directly from community feedback requesting more access to district information in a variety of formats.
