Wiggin Street Parent Update

Families,

It was so great to celebrate students' summer reading this week with Water Day! Thank you to all the parent volunteers that helped make the day a success. Also, a special thank you to Ms. Waugh who organized the event with help from the other teachers. We hope you enjoy the video below with pictures taken by Everleigh's dad, Matt Jenkins. The pictures are amazing, and we are so grateful!

Our 2nd grade traveled to the Memorial Theater this week to watch Dylan Shelton's puppets. They will travel again next week as well as 3rd grade to see The Spongebob Musical: Youth Edition which will star some of our very own Wiggin Street students: Keely Booth, Mary Jo Camillus, and Andrew Petersen. There are also a number of Wiggin Street alumni in the cast.

Mr. Evans will be introducing Lt. Gov. Tressel's Fitness Challenge to students next week during PE. This is an at home program, so it is optional, but students are rewarded with a bronze, silver, or gold certificate as well as growing stronger building healthy habits by moving their body, eating smart, and getting good sleep.

Our fall mumkin sale is going on now through September 9th. All proceeds go towards Wiggin Street's PBIS Rewards and resources. Thank you for your support! Delivery of mums will be September 23rd.

Wiggin Street students will be intoduced to Lt. Gov. Tressel's Fitness Challenge that starts on September 8th and goes through December 18th. Mr. Evans will be hosting fun exercises with students starting on Wednesday September 10th. More information to come!
