SBA Math/ELA testing for 3rd-5th grades will be May 14th-24th and 5th Grade only SBA Science will be June 4th. It is highly recommended that you DO NOT plan appointments or vacation for your student at this time!

O'Connor Photography will be at our school on Wednesday 3/20 to take Class Group Photos as well as each student has the opportunity to be photographed for a Spring Individual Green Screen Portrait.

All students will be photographed in the Class Group photo. Only students who pre-order an Individual photo will be photographed for green screen portraits. Our 2nd and 3rd grade concert is approaching! We are so excited to share the music we've been working on! Our concert is on Thursday, March 21st, at 6:00 PM here at Tehaleh Heights Elementary, on the Launchpad stage.
The performance is not required but encouraged. Performers will need to arrive around 5:45 PM to allow us to set up, warm up, and get started on time. The concert should run about 20 minutes total.
Students can wear what they usually would to school. If they'd like, they can wear pastel colors to match our spring theme. I will ask students to remove hats while they are onstage so that we can clearly see everyone's faces.

Calling all future Trailblazers! Kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-25 school year is open! Do you know a child who will be five years old on or before August 31? Maybe it's your neighbor, friend or even your own child. Now’s the right time to enroll next year’s kindergarten students. The sooner you enroll, the better we can keep you informed. Get information on what documents you need and how to enroll -- the process is all online at sumnersd.org/register.

Immunizations

New requirements are in effect for students in preschool or kindergarten who are four years old or older on Sept. 1.

Washington state's school immunization law requires documentation of immunization at the time of school registration. A Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS), signed by the parent/guardian, must be on file at the school on or before the student's first day of school. Learn more about immunizations.

We're looking for photos from Back To School Night, the first week of school, candids from 4th/5th soccer and basketball, spirit days, Talent Show and Grinch production, STEM Fair, Raise Craze, Halloween and Valentine dances, and Trailblazer Takeover events at Round Table and Chick-fil-A!

No problem if you can’t recall if you’ve sent them already – send them again to be sure! (One family entry into prize drawing regardless of quantity of submissions.)
