Picture Day - See the flyer below to check if your child's picture day is September 9th, 10th or 11th!
Garden Club - Garden afterschool program will be Tuesdays from 3:30-5pm, for 4th-8th grade students.
Penny Wars - We are going to start a penny war in the school to raise money for our seniors. Starting Monday 9/2/25 and ending 9/12/25. Each grade level will be given a container to collect coins at assembly. The winning grade level will get to slime the seniors! To win, you have to have the most money in coins (not the most money). If there are dollar bills, that amount is subtracted off totals. Students put coins in their own containers and dollars in the containers of other classes to keep them from winning.
9th Grade Convocation - We will be celebrating the 9th graders' entry into high school with our traditional convocation ceremony on September 9th. We start the ceremony with a parade from junior high to the high school. 9th graders need to be in a vehicle in the parade. Parents, please write letters of encouragement and submit them in a sealed envelope to the front office by September 8. Parents of 9th graders should have received a letter with more information. If you have not received that letter, please contact the front office.
First Home Football Game - Thursday, September 18 we will have a senior-kindergarten walk on the football field where the youngest and oldest students at the school meet at centerfield and encourage each other with extreme sweetness!
Hozho Family Fun Run - Saturday, September 20 at the Gallup golf course, - 5k (or 2.5K) This is a family event to raise money for the senior class. We will be running at sunset with glow sticks and then have food and music! $35 per participant to enter. We'd love to see many families participate or come support the participants!
