Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am delighted to send you my first newsletter! I look forward to this new role for the coming months and wish Niamh all the best as she prepares for her new adventure!

Some great news to start off with; we had two teams represent our school at the Inter Schools Quiz this week. Both teams did extremely well and one of our teams came third, advancing to the next round in a few weeks. A big well done to them all!

6th March World Book day. The children are invited to dress up as their favouite character from a book

11th March: Stay and play for our new Junior Infants (1.15)

16th March: Wear Green to celebrate St Patrick's Day. We will be having a Céilí in school too.

17th March: Closed for St Patrick's Day

23rd-25th March: Spring Show!

27th March: Closed at 11.30 for the Spring Holidays

We are delighted to announce the launch of the FETNS Parent/Guardian Peer Support Network, with our first online meeting taking place on Wednesday 4th March, 8:00 - 9:00pm.

The Peer Support Network is a monthly, online, peer-led space designed to bring parents and guardians together to connect, share experiences, and support one another around common parenting topics. Sessions will include open conversation, themed discussions shaped by participant interest, and occasional guest speakers from relevant organisations.

The network is open to all parents and guardians within the FETNS community. There is no requirement to attend every session - you are very welcome to join as often or as little as suits you.

Big thank you to the PGTA for the very successful Movie Night. It is still being talked about here in school!

Parents and Guardians thank you so much for your continued support for the STEAM club.

We will be running the club again for four weeks for 35euro per child.

This will be Thursday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th of March 2:05-3:05pm

It is open for 2nd-6th class children.

On Monday 16th March students are invited to wear green to school to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge / Irish Language Week.

We will have a whole school céilí dance during the school day and will be doing activities in the run up to St. Patrick's Day as part of the curriculum.
