AP Entrepreneur Selected for Prestigious Australia-India Youth Dialogue

Andhra Pradesh entrepreneur and innovation ecosystem builder Srikar Maddi of Guntur has been selected as a delegate for the Australia-India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) 2026, a bilateral leadership forum that brings together emerging leaders from India and Australia. Established in 2012, the AIYD is a Track Two leadership dialogue between the two countries. Each year, 30 delegates — 15 each from India and Australia — are selected from sectors including business, government, entrepreneurship, technology, academia, media and civil society.

Apollo Tyres eyes new factory in Tamil Nadu, southern TN in focus

Tamil Nadu’s ambitions to become India’s pre-eminent automotive manufacturing state are steadily extending beyond Chennai. Apollo Tyres, one of the country’s largest tyre makers, is exploring the establishment of a new greenfield manufacturing facility in the State, in addition to its existing unit at Oragadam, adding to a fresh wave of investments expected to turn the southern region of the State into a new auto-ancillary hub.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu on Monday invited innovators, entrepreneurs and creators to bring their ideas to the state, assuring full support to turn them into reality, as he addressed the inaugural Hyderabad Economic Forum (HEF) 2026. Delivering the keynote on “Hyderabad: Becoming India’s Innovation Capital,” the minister highlighted that the 21st century belongs to nations that attract ideas, talent and innovation. He noted India’s rise in the Global Innovation Index and said Telangana is determined to lead this transformation.
