Longhorn's Latest
August 2026
Dear Conley Families,
Welcome back! I hope you and your family had a summer filled with sunshine, laughter, adventure, and just the right amount of relaxation. Whether your days were spent traveling, enjoying backyard barbecues, cheering from the sidelines, reading a good book, or simply sleeping in a little later than usual, I hope this summer gave you time to make wonderful memories together.
As we begin another exciting school year, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be starting Year 4 as your proud principal at Conley Elementary. It's hard to believe how quickly the time has flown! Over the past three years, I've had the privilege of getting to know our incredible students, families, and staff, and each year reminds me just how special the Conley community truly is.
Now, I know there may be a few mixed emotions about the first day of school. Some students are counting down the days with excitement, while others are trying to convince their parents that summer should last at least another month. Before long, backpacks will be packed, alarm clocks will once again become our least favorite household item, and we'll all be wondering where summer went.
But with a new school year comes so much to look forward to!
This year will be filled with meaningful learning, exciting classroom experiences, creative projects, special events, school traditions, celebrations, and opportunities for every child to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our teachers and staff have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare engaging lessons, welcoming classrooms, and fun activities that will make this year one to remember.
At Conley, we believe that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, challenged, and celebrated. Together, with our dedicated staff and our amazing families, we will continue building a school community where students are encouraged to take risks, show kindness, discover their passions, and become the very best version of themselves.
Thank you for trusting us with your children each day. Your partnership, encouragement, and support make an incredible difference, and I am grateful to work alongside you in helping every student succeed.
Whether you're joining the Conley family for the very first time or returning for another wonderful year, know that you belong here. I can't wait to welcome everyone through our doors and kick off another fantastic year together.
Here's to new friendships, exciting discoveries, unforgettable memories, and an amazing school year ahead!
With gratitude and excitement,
Bree Robinson

Bussing
DelVal Transportation will be sending an email to the parents regarding bus service. They expect to have the emails out to the parents on August 20th. Please be patient with the timing as it is a large endeavor for transportation.
You should report to your bus stop 10 minutes prior to the assigned pick-up time. Please be patient. Sometimes the buses run a bit off schedule during the first few days of the school year.
Pick Up Patrol (PUP)
Our school uses PickUp Patrol to help us track attendance and dismissal information. PickUp Patrol provides you with a convenient way to make changes to your child’s dismissal plans and helps ensure that our students are accurately dismissed each day.
RETURNING PARENTS: Please enter and confirm your child’s default plan here once you have received your information from DelVal Transportation: https://app.pickuppatrol.net/parents. For a safe dismissal, it’s essential that we know your student’s regular daily dismissal plans before the first day of school.
NEW PARENTS: Please register and enter your child’s Default Dismissal Plans by August 20th.
The PUP web app is free for parents and you can use it from your smartphone or computer.
Instructions for how to add the app to your phone are included in the registration email.
You will need to register before you can enter default plans.
Thank you for using PickUp Patrol (PUP) to make safety a priority and to ensure our dismissal process is efficient for all our students.
For more information regarding PUP please use this link. If you have any questions, please reach out to Christi Roling at croling@btschools.org
