Inside the Bear Cave
August 2025
Welcome
Dear Sierra Bonita Families,
We are excited to kick off the school year with the first day of school on Wednesday, August 13th!
Before we begin, join us for our Open House on Tuesday, August 12th from 1:00–3:00 PM. This is a great opportunity for students and parents to:
-
Meet your teacher
-
Join PTA and choir
-
Get familiar with the school
School Supplies & Donations
All supplies are provided by the school. We are asking for an optional $25 donation (or any amount you are comfortable with) to help cover grade-level specific supplies and student incentives. Donations can be made in the front office or online through Infinite Campus Parent Portal→ Fees section.

First Day Celebration
On the first day, parents and students are invited to enter through the front doors and help us cheer on our Bears! We’ll also have a photo opportunity at the front of the school.
Parents may walk students to their classrooms if needed, but we encourage students to walk independently to build confidence. Staff will be in the hallways to help guide students.
After the First Day
-
All students and parents must enter through the front doors; no other doors will be open.
-
Students may proceed to their classrooms following normal morning routines.
-
All parents and visitors must check in at the office and wear a visitor pass before entering the hallways.
This helps us keep our school safe and secure for all students.
We can’t wait to see you and start the year off strong!
For additional details and updates, please visit our school website.
Sincerely,
Mr. Gull
