News from Nurse Nobile
Just a few reminders to keep everyone safe and healthy as we approach the end of the school year:
-Germs are out there so please keep practicing good hand washing so as not catch those nasty illnesses. We still have some flu bugs going around!
-With the weather getting warmer, lots of insects are also out wanting to spend time with the family. Take precautions like bug spray or protective clothing to fight off the mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks.
-If your child has any medications they take at school (prescription or over the counter) a letter will be coming home to remind you that these need to be picked up by an adult before the last day of school. Any medications left will be disposed of. Please contact the nurse if you plan to pick up or if you would prefer to have medication discarded.
PBIS News
PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports. Our staff is trained to look for opportunities to celebrate the positive things that students do each day. We teach students what the expectations are for every area of the building so that they enter a safe and predictable environment. We expect our students to ROW Like Vikings no matter where they are at DES. ROW stands for Respect, Ownership and Wise Choices. Students will earn ROW tickets when they are caught showing these positive behaviors and their tickets can earn them fun incentives throughout the school year.
Congratulations to this week's ROW Ticket Classroom Winners!
Our Character Trait of the Month is Safety. Help us reinforce this trait at home this month!

Stay Connected!
If you are on social media, please consider following our Dundee Elementary Facebook Page. Photos, updates and weekly newsletters are posted there.
Lastly, if you haven't already connected with your student's teacher on Bloomz, please consider doing so. Bloomz is the main form of communication that teachers use to interact with families. If you aren't sure how to get connected, please contact your student's teacher or the office and we'd be happy to help!
