Once you are connected to your child's transportation account you will be able to share access with anyone you wish. Additionally, you can also remove access should you need to (i.e. if your child attends a new babysitter, you can remove access from the previous one). You can share access to your child's account to as many or as few people as you wish.
How is My Ride K-12 accessed?
Online: To access My Ride K-12 online, click the following link: https://OHLebanonCitySD.myridek12.tylerapp.com/

Once buses begin exiting (around 2:38 p.m.), traffic will be temporarily stopped. Expect a 10–12 minute delay until the bus lot clears.

Early Dismissals / Midday Pick-Up

Picture Day
All School Picture Day
All students will have their school pictures taken on August 28th. These photos are used for student IDs and our student information system, so it’s important that every student sits for a picture even if you're not planning to order prints. Please dress appropriately!
Retake Day is scheduled for Thursday, October 8 for anyone who misses the first date or needs a new photo.
Seniors – Formal Picture Day
In addition to the regular picture day, seniors will have a Formal Senior Picture Day on Wednesday, January 13. If your senior missed the summer portrait session, this will be their last chance to have it taken. This is the photo that will be used in the senior composite, yearbook, and graduation slideshow, so it must be taken with Lifetouch/Prestige.
WCCC seniors will also have formal pictures taken on January 13th at both WCCC campuses.
Make sure to mark your calendar; these are the photos you’ll look back on for years to come!
Chromebooks
Lebanon High School is a 1:1 technology school, meaning every student has their own Chromebook to use for school.
Returning students (grades 10–12): You were issued a Chromebook and charger when you started at LHS and you’re still responsible for it. Please locate it and make sure it’s charged and working before the first day of school.
New students and incoming 9th graders: You’ll receive your Chromebook and charger during the first week of school.
All students are expected to bring their Chromebook to class every day just like any other school supply.
If you do not have a school-issued Chromebook or are having issues with one, please see Mrs. Hahn or Mrs. Abshire in the Media Center.

Geometry
Biology
American History
American Government
To meet graduation requirements, students must:
Earn a competency score of 684 or higher on Algebra I and ELA II
Earn readiness seals by scoring 700 or higher on:
Biology (Science Seal)
American History and American Government (Citizenship Seal)
For more detailed information about Ohio's graduation requirements and End-of-Course exams, visit the Ohio Department of Education website - Ohio Graduation Requirements
Exams
To support student well-being and academic integrity, we are updating our exam procedures this year and will no longer offer exam exemptions based on attendance. We know that illness and unexpected life events happen, and students shouldn't feel pressured to attend school unwell just to maintain an exemption. Tying exemptions to attendance can also undermine the academic value of exams.
We remain committed to stressing the importance of attendance and have a plan which will support students with attendance needs that push the boundary of habitual absenteeism. Students will receive full details during the first few days of school about other changes to our exam policy, and we will share a complete update with families in our September newsletter.
Immunization Requirements
The Ohio Department of Health requires immunization with the Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine before entry into 12th grade at LHS or WCCC. Your student may have already received one dose of this vaccine, but a second dose must be administered on or after the 16th birthday. If your student has not had these immunizations, please make arrangements for them to receive them as soon as possible. This immunization can be obtained from your family physician, the Warren County Health Department, or the surrounding area clinics and pharmacies. Proof of immunization or immunization exemption* must be provided to the nursing office by September 4, 2026, or by Ohio law, your student will be excluded from school. You can submit them through fax 513.933.2150 or email at specht.brittani@lebanonschools.org or green.tamberly@lebanonschools.org.
* Per Ohio Revised Code and school board policy, a student may be exempted from immunization if a parent or guardian objects for good cause, including religious conviction, or if there is a medical condition that prohibits immunization. It will be attached to this email.
Student Expectations - Key Highlights
The Lebanon High School Board Approved student handbook can be found here. Although it is full of great information on how to make your school year the best one yet, the following are points of emphasis as we start the school year:
Phones
As part of a new law signed by Governor DeWine, all Ohio school districts are now required to have a formal cell phone policy in place. The good news is that Lebanon High School has used one in the past which fulfills the requirements set forth by the State of Ohio.
Students are not permitted to have or use their cell phones during any scheduled class period. This includes academic classes, study halls, student aide periods, student activities, field trips, and any other instructional time. Cell phones must be stored in a secure place such as a locker, zipped backpack, or district-approved storage location.
Here are the key points to know:
No cell phones should be out or in use during class, in restrooms, or in locker rooms.
Students may access their phones before and after school only.
No headphones, earbuds, or AirPods may be worn or used at any time during the school day.
Taking pictures or videos of others is not allowed unless directed by a teacher or administrator for a school-approved activity.
Exceptions are only made for documented IEP or medical reasons.
Students who do not follow these expectations will face progressive discipline.
10/10 Rule
This year we will be continuing the 10/10 rule, which means students are not permitted to leave the classroom during the first or last ten minutes of class. These are important times for launching and wrapping up lessons. The only exception is in the case of an emergency (such as needing to visit the nurse).
Dress Code
As always, we ask students to dress in a way that is respectful and not disruptive to the learning environment.
Here are the basics:
Clothing must cover private areas and undergarments.
Clothing may not promote drugs, alcohol, tobacco, violence, or sexual content.
No gang-related, offensive, or inappropriate symbols, language, or images.
Grooming or attire must not pose a health or safety risk, damage school property, or interfere with instruction.
The best guide is common sense and we trust students and families to make responsible choices. If questions arise, staff will handle them respectfully and in alignment with Board policy.
Thank you for your support as we work together to make LHS a focused and positive place to learn.
New Staff to LHS
It has been an incredibly busy and productive last few months behind the scenes at LHS! Our hiring committees and athletic departments have been working overtime to recruit top-tier talent to our school community. We are confident that we have brought on a stellar group of passionate educators, support staff, and coaches who are eager to make a difference.
