Wishing you a Happy Memorial Day Weekend! As we celebrate this weekend, let us remember the reasons behind it and honor those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
For those keeping track, we have 14 days of school left. At the bottom of this Smore, you will find all the important dates for the remainder of the school year. This time can be both exciting and stressful for students. Our 7th and 8th graders will have final exams on June 9th and June 10th, while our 6th graders will also be concluding their classes with unit and chapter tests.
The class of 2025 graduation is June 5, 2025 at 6:30. We are sharing a streaming link for a viewing:

Have a great three day weekend.
Best regards,

Tik Tok Challenge
There is a new Tik Tok challenge and we need your help in making it stop. Students are putting pencil lead or other conductive material into the charging ports of their Chromebook in an attempt to cause sparks, the Chromebook to smoke or even catch fire. This causes the Chromebook to short circuit and is ruined. We have been making announcements to warn students but we still need you to help with this conversation.
Chromebook replacement cost is $317.00.
PTO
Thank you so much to our wonderful PTO. Today there were bags and bags of popcorn popped and lots of Mustang Money collected from students who earned money to spend in the Mustang Market.
We appreciate all you do for students.
Bus Cards
This year, all students received a bus card that must be scanned each time they board the bus. Many students have chosen to keep their cards in their phone cases for easy access. Scanning the cards helps drivers keep track of who is on the bus, allows parents to monitor the expected arrival time, and helps ensure quicker routes.
However, several students have lost their cards. All students need to have their bus cards, as there will be a fee of $5.00 for each replacement card issued. Students can visit the office to request a replacement and make their payment at that time.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
