Subject: 🌈 Get Ready for Zones of Regulation Spirit Week! Sept 29-Oct 3
Hello Davis Families!
We're excited to announce a colorful week ahead at Davis! From September 29th through October 3rd, our school community will be celebrating Zones of Regulation Spirit Week! 🎨
During morning meetings, students will be learning about the Zones of Regulation—a wonderful framework that helps children identify and manage their emotions by sorting feelings into four color-coded zones. Think of it as giving our students a "feelings toolkit" to understand their emotional states and choose helpful strategies throughout their day!
Here's how YOU can help make learning fun:
Each day, students will explore a different zone, and we'd LOVE for them to wear that zone's color to school! Check out our rainbow schedule:
🔵 Monday (Blue Zone) - Wear BLUE!
Learning about: Low energy feelings like tired, sad, or sick
💚 Tuesday (Green Zone) - Wear GREEN!
Learning about: Calm, focused, ready-to-learn feelings
💛 Wednesday (Yellow Zone) - Wear YELLOW!
Learning about: Heightened feelings like excited, frustrated, or silly
❤️ Thursday (Red Zone) - Wear RED!
Learning about: Intense emotions that feel overwhelming
🌈 Friday (Rainbow Day) - Wear ALL THE COLORS!
Celebrating all the zones together!
No need to buy anything special—dig through those closets and get creative! Mismatched socks, crazy patterns, head-to-toe color... the more festive, the better!
Let's make this a week of learning, fun, and colorful self-regulation strategies together!
The Davis Team 💙💚💛❤️

🎉 BINGO Was Its Name-O! 🎉
What an incredible evening at Davis Elementary's very first BINGO event!
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for organizing such a wonderful, welcoming event that brought our school community together. It was so heartwarming to see families and teachers laughing, playing, and enjoying each other's company over games of BINGO!
The popcorn was popping, the cotton candy was flowing, and the excitement in the room was contagious every time someone shouted "BINGO!" Our students were absolutely thrilled—from calling out numbers to winning prizes, their smiles said it all!
Thank you, PTO, for creating such a fun and memorable night for our Davis Elementary family. We can't wait for the next one! 💙
Saint Charles East High School Marching Band Visits Davis School!
Davis staff and students enjoyed a rousing performance by the SCEHS Marching Band on Friday morning. The interactive & energetic performance got our toes tapping, hands clapping, and even a little dancing! A big THANK YOU to the Band members for sharing their music with us!
