AVA Family Update
February 9, 2025
Good afteroon AVA students and families,
If you had trouble accessing your progress reports, or have any questions, I hope you will reach out to me.
Not much new this week as we head towards February break, save for a survey we need all non-Seniors to fill out about their plans for next year. Please take a moment and fill it out. It's below in the guidance update.
The schedule and community updates are below as per usual. Thank you for your time.

Next Year Plans
Kind reminder: We are collecting responses from all non-senior AVA students and families about next school year's enrollment plan. Please click HERE to complete this super quick survey. The deadline is currently set to April 27th, but if your family has any extenuating circumstances and would like support on next year's enrollment planning, please email Ms Nellie right away.
NACAC Virtual College Fair
The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) will be hosting a virtual college fair on Sunday, February 16th from 1pm to 6pm EST! This is a great opportunity to talk to admissions counselors virtually and start gathering valuable information for your post-seconday planning. AVA juniors and seniors who are thinking college in the future are strongly encourged to take advantage of this opportunity! Registration and more information can be found HERE.
Junior Planning Night
AHS Guidance will be hosting on campus its annual Junior Planning Night on Thursday, March 13th at 6pm in the Bray Auditorium. This is a great opportunity for students and their families to learn more about the college and career process. Whether you are interested in college, employment, or the military, or you are still undecided, there is something for everyone! All AVA juniors and families are welcome and encouraged to attend!
ASVAB Testing
Reminder: The ASVAB is the required test for entrance to the military. The last test administration at AHS this school year will take place on Friday, March 7 at 7:30 AM. Please register HERE as soon as possible.
As always, please feel free to email me (nng@attleboroschools.com) with any questions, comments, or concerns. Have a warm, safe weekend!
