Save the Date! Sunday, September 28, 2025!

Here is an opportunity to go see the Rattlers (Fort Worth’s own Pro Bull Riding Team) compete at home on Sunday, September 28! Please follow the link below for discounted tickets. There are various price levels, but if you scroll down there are adult seats available for $25 (which in turn gets a free youth ticket). https://www.gofevo.com/event/RattlerDays4HNight

Sprouting Success! A 4-H Mentoring Program

Are you a new member looking for support and a friend to guide you through 4-H? Sprouting Success is for you! Also, we are looking for older members who would like to lead, inspire and make a difference in the Tarrant County 4-H program! Apply to be a Mentee or Mentor today!

More Details:

  • Anyone of any age can be a mentee. If a 10th grader is a new member and wants to be a mentee, that is ok!
  • Mentees can apply at any time during the year, and we can match you to a mentor.
  • Not all mentors who apply may be matched with a mentee right away. We will keep applications on hand until a mentee comes along that matches with a mentor.
  • Members applying to be a mentors will complete a short orientation.

Tarrant County 4-H'er, Kaden Gordillo, came up with this idea and is coordinating this amazing project!

**Please share these applications with your club members (due dates have been extended to accommodate the start of the new 4-H year.

Tarrant County Family Hosts Japanese Exchange Student through 4-H!

The Olivas family hosted a Japanese student through the relationship between 4-H and LABO.
It was an experience they will never forget.

Their children practiced the lessons in Southern Hospitality, communication, and empathy. In true 4-H fashion, they were also able to teach their delegate all about goats.

They took the delegate to participate in all things North Texas including: Six Flags, Medieval Times, The Stockyards, to taste all the local foods, the museums, to meet TCU football coach Sonny Dykes, indoor skydiving and rock climbing, and so much more. However, what he loved the most were the tacos and the goats!
