November Social Emotional Learning Skill: Gratitude
This month students will be learning and practicing how to show gratitude. Gratitude is being thankful for the people, experiences, and things we have in our lives. It can be as simple as saying โthank you,โ appreciating a kind gesture, or recognizing something that makes our day better. Practicing gratitude helps children focus on the positive, build stronger relationships, and develop kindness and appreciation for others. Review the Showing Gratitude social story at home and share what you are grateful for.
Recipe of the Month
Baleada and Horchata

Happy School Psychologist Week
During the week of November 9-13, the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and schools across the United States will celebrate the 2026 National School Psychology Week (NSPW). This week celebrates the contributions of school psychologists and the important role they play in schools and communities. NSPW is an annual opportunity to recognize school psychologists' work to help children thrive in school, at home, and in life. This year's theme, "Inspire Connection," highlights how school psychologists build meaningful relationships that support students, strengthen collaboration, and transform school communities.
Thank you to our amazing School Psychologists, Michelle Salvatore and Rachel DeMaio!
