DOYLE IS KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Congratulations to #PointerNation 4th Grade Teacher Livia Doyle, and her husband Justin, who had the honor of being selected as keynote speakers at this week's UW-Platteville Rural Education Conference and Job Fair!
They shared insights on reshaping perceptions of rural America and education, illustrating how impactful partnerships can transform communities. Read more here: https://www.uwplatt.edu/news/rural-education-uw-platteville-leads-listening-and-partnerships

AUTHOR RESEARCH
5th Graders are doing research for their new non-fiction books they will be writing and interviewed their 1st Grade friends. Once they are finished, they will come back and share. We can't wait to read them!
HOPPY VISITORS
The bunny visited good girls and boys Sunday, but a couple of special bunny helpers hopped by 1st Grade this past week!
HERE WE GROW
We received a generous donation of seedlings to care for from Mrs. Carly Gordon, one of our sweet substitutes! We are already taking turns checking on them and watering. Thank you, Mrs. Gordon!
SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU
Early Childhood made memorable bunny artwork!
PETER RABBIT
The story of Peter Rabbit isn’t really an Easter story, but it sure is a fun Spring story. Mrs. McGuire's students loved following up the story with this cute craft! Always obey your mother!
SALT PAINTING
Early Childhood worked on their fine motor skills while salt painting! Salt painting is a fun art activity where designs are created by applying glue to paper, scattering salt over it, and painting with watercolor or food coloring mixed with water. The salt absorbs the liquid paint, creating a raised, textured effect.
BUNNY STOPS BY
The bunny found his way to Mrs. McDonald's classroom and students were so egg-cited!
DYEING EGGS
It wouldn’t be spring without dyeing eggs! So much fun in Kindergarten!
MONEY EDUCATION
Mrs. Kayla Hamlin has been busy visiting our classrooms to help us learn about needs vs. wants and how to save money! Thank you to her and Mound City Bank for helping us learn about these important topics.
READING NOOK
Our elementary reading nook is such a special place for all our young Pointers!
LIBRARY MONTH
It's Library Month! We are so lucky to have such a fabulous learning space in our elementary school! T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U to all voters who supported this renovation referendum for modernized learning spaces back in 2018!
SNAPSHOTS
Dodge-Point Track & Field is off to a hot start! Check out photos from last week's home meet here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=MineralPointSchoolDistrict&set=a.1211053000996580
