WBSD Weekly Update

The first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year will be Monday, August 25, 2025.

The full school calendar is still being finalized. It is a negotiated item between the District and the West Bloomfield Education Association (WBEA), the teachers’ union. We are currently in the negotiation process and will share the calendar as soon as an agreement is reached.

We anticipate alignment with the Oakland Schools Common Calendar (for Winter and Spring break), as has been the case in previous years. We appreciate your patience and understand how important it is to have this information for planning purposes.
