Dear Fairfax Families,

We have a few important updates to share with you this week:

📝 Interim Testing for Grades 3-5
Students in grades 3-5 will take their interim assessments this week. These assessments provide valuable insights for staff and students as we prepare for the upcoming Ohio State Tests in April.

The schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday, March 12 – ELA (Grades 3-5)
• Wednesday, March 13 – Science (Grade 5 only)
• Thursday, March 14 – Math (Grades 3-5)

This past Friday, each 3-5 teacher, along with myself, Mrs. Kephart (Title I Lead), Mrs. Houk (ELA & Math Title Support), and Mrs. Stoicoiu (School Counselor), met individually with students in grades 3-5 to review their October interim scores and set personal goals for this test.

We ask for your support in ensuring your child is set up for success by:
✅ Arriving to school on time
✅ Getting plenty of rest (early bedtime and limited screen time)
✅ Eating a healthy breakfast

📅 PTA Meeting Date Change

Please note that the PTA meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 19, at 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

📚 Lee Road Library Behavior Reminder
For students who visit the Lee Road Library, we kindly ask for your support in reinforcing Fairfax’s behavior expectations after school while in the library. We want to ensure our students continue to be respectful community members in all spaces.

🏨 Kalahari Spring Break Fundraiser Deadline Extended!
The deadline for the Kalahari Spring Break Fundraiser has been extended to March 14. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity! More information is below.
