April 20-24, 2026

Principal's Message
Good afternoon, Panther Community,
I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend’s varied weather! We’ve had a busy week at PFH, preparing for our musical, Chicago Teen Edition, and hosting the Loudoun County (LoCo) Track meet. This is our first time hosting in several years. Our Athletic Directors, Coaches, Athletic Boosters, Parents, and Students all showed outstanding preparation, organization, and enthusiasm. We also celebrated our business partners at the LCPS Business Partnership Breakfast. Many thanks to George Mason University for partnering with PFH to create the ACCESS Academy and to Ridgetop Coffee for sponsoring our Panther Perks Coffee Cart, one of our school-based businesses.
This week's shout-out goes to Athletic Directors, Mr. Nick Siano and Mr. Rob Puterio, for their energy and commitment to excellence! Our Athletic Department hosted 17 LCPS schools at the LoCo Track Meet on Saturday. They also organized Senior Nights for the Girls’ Tennis and Track Teams. Your hard work and support are greatly appreciated!
Lastly, I encourage you to attend our Spring Musical, Chicago Teen Edition, this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Please remember, small changes make a big difference. Students, please keep your cell phones silenced and put away during class so everyone can focus. Set your alarms 5-10 minutes earlier and challenge yourself to arrive on time every day this week!
Have a great day, Panthers!

We are excited to announce that Remote Testing opportunities for the VA Learner's Permit two-part knowledge test will begin soon for PFHS students. Parents must email Misty.Keller@lcps.org to begin the registration process. Students MUST be registered in order to test on a specific date. Each testing date will be limited to 10 students at this time; test dates include May 12, May 28 and June 9 at this time. Additional dates may be added.
Students are eligible for the Learner's Permit test if they are at least 15 years and 6 months old, have reviewed the VA driver's manual, are prepared to take the exam and have not attempted a Learner's Permit test in the past 15 days. Students may attempt the Learner's Permit knowledge questions at a remote testing location (PFHS instead of DMV) only on the first and second attempts. Any 3rd or additional attempts must be made in person at the DMV.
On the day of the test, students must have the following: completed online registration for that specific date with confirmation number, a signed DTS-41 parent permission form (available in the counseling office), and a photo ID; no exceptions. Students will receive their results immediately and may then take their testing certificate to the DMV to obtain the Learner's Permit; appointments are recommended. The testing certificate DOES NOT allow students behind the wheel.
Email Misty Keller (Misty.Keller@lcps.org) with any questions for additional details or to begin the registration process for your student.
