PA Governor's STEM Competition 2023

Registration opens September 6, 2022 for the PA Governor's STEM Competition. The link for additional details can be found here.

PA Invention Convention

The Pennsylvania Invention Convention gives students recognition for creating inventions to solve real world problems. Creativity, critical thinking, innovation, teamwork, and communication skills are recognized as the skills that prepare students for increasingly complex school, work, and life environments.


This event is for students in grades K-12 to show off their own inventions. Students should use the Framework for Inventing as a guide to creating their project. Individual students or teams of up to four can participate. Top students may be invited to compete at the state level competition at the PETE&C conference on February 15, 2023. Registration link opens December 1, 2022 and closes January 12, 2023. Virtual project submissions will be judged January 13 - 19, 2023.

24 Challenge

Date: April 4, 2022


Time: 9:30 am - 1:00 pm


Registration will be open soon for the 24 Challenge. The event will be hosted at the Elderton High School gym. The 24 (Math) Challenge is a card game that contain various numbers. The main idea of the game is to do math calculations (add, subtract, mulitply and divide) to reach the answer of 24. To see how to play this "game" please click here.
