Transportation- Plan Accordingly!

Student Parking:

Student parking permits are now on sale for the 26–27 school year! Seniors will receive first priority in selecting their parking spots through August 28. All other student drivers may also purchase permits, but senior parking spot selection will be prioritized during this period.

The deadline for ALL student drivers with a current license to purchase a parking permit is September 2nd. All students who park on campus must register their vehicle and display a valid parking permit to prevent their vehicle from being towed.

To register your vehicle, please submit the following to Ms. Link in the front office:

  • Completed paper parking application signed by a parent/guardian
  • $30 parking fee paid online here: https://biller.accelerate.ar.synovus.com/ebpp/CedarShoals/
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proof of insurance

The parking application and complete parking permit guidelines are available online or in the Cedar Shoals main office.

Bus Information:

Many students do not know their bus number. Please make sure that your child knows their bus number and bus route. Each bus has been assigned a bus route. Students and families can access bus route information at this link. Additional transportation information can be found on the school district's website here.

Car Line:

Students are to be dropped off and picked up in front of the main academic building. Due to volume, the line does back up and can take a while. In the morning, please give yourself PLENTY of time to ensure your student(s) arrives to first period class on time. We typically see our highest traffic volume between 8:20-8:40 am. Students are allowed to be dropped off as early as 8:00 am and can occupy the lunchroom until school begins.

Car Line Rules:

  • For morning drop off, please pull all the way forward to maximize drop off efficiency and keep the line moving. Dropping students off directly in front of the school doors causes traffic to back up.
  • Drivers must be fully attentive to students and staff at all crosswalks. Cell phone usage must be hands-free.
