Note From Mr. Alexander
Subject: Welcome Spring, Traffic Pattern Update and Carberry’s Got Talent
Dear Parents,
As we anxiously await the arrival of spring, I hope this season brings joy and rejuvenation to your families. My son and I were able to take a fun motorcycle ride this past weekend when it was 60 degrees. Where did that weather go?
I want to take a moment to update you on the change to our traffic pattern due to the construction on SubStation. I understand this adjustment may cause some inconvenience, and I apologize for any disruption it may cause to your daily routines. Our main priority is always the safety of our students, staff, and families, and we are working closely with local authorities to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during this time. Please be careful at 12th and SubStation now that it is a four way stop, not everyone will realize this change. As a former driver’s education instructor, please drive defensively as if the other car won’t stop.
Your patience and understanding during this period are greatly appreciated. If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to my office.
I also want to thank our incredible PTO, volunteers, and business partners as we celebrate the success of our 2nd Annual Carberry’s Got Talent. I have been told that they raised $10,000 but the final number is still coming in as there were some last minute donations. The PTO plans to work on the underlayment of the playground so that when it rains or snows that the water has somewhere to go and the playground can be reopened quicker. You are a huge blessing and I am very grateful to be a part of this community. Emmett Rocks!
Sincerely,
Greg Alexander
Principal, Carberry Elementary School
