6th Grade Field Trip
Our sixth grade field trip to the Minnesota History Center and the Minnesota State Capitol was a fascinating adventure through time and government. We started at the History Center, where we explored exhibits that spanned centuries of Minnesota's past, from the Indigenous cultures to the waves of immigrants that shaped the state. The interactive displays brought history to life, making it feel personal and real. Afterward, we visited the Minnesota State Capitol, where the grand architecture and stunning murals left a lasting impression. Inside, we got to see the legislative chambers, learning how laws are made and how the Capitol functions as the heart of state government. The trip helped us connect the dots between Minnesota’s history and its modern-day government, giving us a deeper appreciation for both.
