MBHS Mission Statement
TO GRADUATE ALL STUDENTS COLLEGE AND CAREER READY BY FOCUSING ON CLIMATE/CULTURE, STUDENT NEEDS, AND QUALITY INSTRUCTION.
A Message from the Principal
Dear MBHS Families,
It's an exciting time as we prepare for the upcoming school year and enjoy the last days of summer. With that comes school news and answers to some of the questions you may have regarding dates, fees, and other items. Should you have further questions regarding the high school, please contact our office (starting August 17th) at 360-383-2015.
In order to prepare students for success in the 2026-27 school year, 9th Grade Orientation is being held at the secondary campus on August 25th at 9:30am. The high school orientation will provide 9th grade students with an opportunity to connect with peer mentors, to meet other peers, to get their schedules, find the locations of their classes, and meet their teachers. Attending orientation is a great way to start the year successfully.
Enjoy the rest of your summer break!
Matt Durand, MBHS Principal

- Pay-to-Play, per season: there is no cost for athletics
- Band Instrument Use Fee: $35.00 per trimester
- Student Parking Permits: no cost for the 2026-27 school year (you must register your vehicle in the office if you plan to drive)
**Fees are not intended to keep students from participating. Assistance is available! Call your school’s counselor if you need financial assistance.
Student Parking
Parking permits are issued to high school students if the student has a current driver's license, proof of insurance, and no outstanding school fines. You must register your vehicle if you plan to drive to school. There is no cost for the 2026-27 school year. More information on registering your vehicle and paying the fee will be available in the next couple of weeks.
