Nash News

Dear Families and Nash Community members,

As the school year is winding down, I wanted to share some exciting news with you! We have planned a series of fun events for the remainder of the year to celebrate the achievements and hard work of our students. Please mark these dates on your calendars and get ready for some memorable experiences.

This week we had our annual field day. We thank all of our volunteers and parent council who collaborated with Mr. Taylor, our physical education teacher, for their support in making this a fun-filled action packed day. I hope that you enjoy a few photos from this day as much as we enjoyed having you part of this day.

We hope that these events will add a touch of excitement and joy to the closing of the school year. We thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our amazing students together.

Warm regards,

Ms. Schuhwerk

  • School Supplies for the 23-24 School Year: Please be aware that the Weymouth Public Schools will be providing all of the supplies needed for elementary school students in the upcoming school year, including pencils, crayons, folders, scissors, etc. As a result, we will not be sending out grade-level supply lists. Families are encouraged to send their child with a backpack and lunch box, and are still welcome to provide supplies and/or donate items (i.e. paper towels, cleaning wipes, tissues) if they choose to do so, but all essential supplies will be provided by WPS.

Playgroundand parking:

We are excited about our new play structure however PLEASE DO NOT park in the side lot during afternoon dismissal it is causing traffic and safety concerns.

Student Attendance

Student attendance is essential for academic growth and social-emotional development. We value the time spent with family, however, we urge you to take vacations when school is not in session. If you are having difficulty getting your student to school, please reach out to me, the classroom teacher, or our school nurse. We are all here to support you and our students. Please make sure your student has a full night's rest and a good breakfast to maximize their learning potential.
