Mobile Dentists are Coming!
Sing up forms were sent home with students this past week. Please return the form by Thursday, Dec. 18, if you plan to have your child participate. The dentists will be coming to Springfield Feb. 11 & 12.
Meet Mr. Bauer
Mr. Bauer is the instructional coach for Springfield. Prior to coming to Springfield, he was a kindergarten teacher.
As an instructional coach, he plays an instrumental part in helping to improve student achievement by working alongside teachers and building their capacity and knowledge in evidence-based instructional practices. We use student data and student work samples to help improve classroom instruction and increase student achievement. He also supports high-quality instruction in classrooms by working collaboratively with teachers through the use of coaching cycles that include modeling, co-planning, co-teaching, and providing feedback to teachers. Another part of his job is to be a continuous learner who models improvement and lifelong learning while demonstrating a commitment to student success.
An interesting fact about Mr. Bauer: He is a published author! He write children's stories
about his dogs, Millie and Mae!
