Snow, AMI Work, Cold!
January 17th, 2025
Congrats to our Student of the Month Winners!
Welcome Back!
AMI Work.........should be complete & turned in for a grade.
AMI Day Responsibilities
On AMI Days students should be completing school work. Teachers have assignments and expectations for students. We have AMI folders/packets that have been distributed to students prior this winter months. The AMI Day assignments are for a grade. We have currently had 4 AMI Days. This week the teachers have been working with students to collect the AMI work so it can be graded and entered into the gradebook. Please discuss AMI work with your students and/or reach out to their teachers.
Welcome Back....Snow, AMI Work, Start of 2nd Semester, Exact Path Diagnostic Testing
This week we had some great lessons and learning activities! There are some great things going on in our classrooms! Ask your students about them!
Teachers and students are discussing/completing/collecting AMI work. AMI Work is for a grade and needs to be completed/turned in.
Our Winter Sports seasons have been rolling (Cheer, Girls Basketball, & Boys Basketball).
Our coaches for the winter sports are listed below:

Our students have started Exact Path diagnostic testing for 2nd semester. They assess over English/Language Arts/Reading & Math. They will then focus on individual learning paths based on their own levels of mastery. The Exact Path program assigns them lessons and activities based on their individual levels on mastery. Each students should complete 14 competencies in English/Reading & Math over the course of the 2nd semester (standards in their current grade level). Have your students login at home and show you where they are on their grade level lessons and activities. (Edmentum Exact Path)
RTI teachers run missing assignment reports for their students. This process is a focus weekly. The students receive a weekly reward for NO missing assignments! Parents/Guardians can login at any time to see grades & assignments.
If any students have two or more failing grades we will have family discussions, and/or communication. Coaches are also running reports and keep track of their athletes. If any student-athletes have two or more failing grades they are not eligible to participate in contests. (See Student Handbook/MSHSSA regulations)
Middle School sports have begun. (See sports schedules below)
