Thank You, WSD HVAC Technicians! 🧊⛄

With all the maintenance being done to the HVAC systems at WHS this school year - and especially this week! - WHS would like to express our appreciation for the Wenatchee School District HVAC Technicians, Lance Coleman and Patrick Shane!

These guys work hard to ensure everything in the district that requires cooling, from our air conditioning units to cafeteria refrigerators, is functioning as well as possible. That's no small feat given our building's aging systems!

Thank you also to WHS students and families for your flexibility as we contend with the heat and smoke in the Wenatchee Valley this week. Have a safe and cool weekend!

Community Thank You 💜

Thank you to the amazing organizations in the Wenatchee Valley who have already welcomed our athletes at their facilities this fall!

🏊🏻‍♀️ With the WHS swimming pool undergoing maintenance, Eastmont Aquatic Center and the WRAC have allowed our girls swim & dive team to spend the first few weeks of the season in their pools.

🏃 Due to the intense heat and smoke this week, the Town Toyota Center let our cross-country team practice in their arena!

None of this would be possible without the WSD transportation team getting our athletes to these alternate facilities. WHS is lucky to have such fantastic community and district partners to help students put in the work to be the best they can be!
