Dear BES Families,

What does Iceland, Thailand, Palestine, Ireland, and Poland have in common? They are all represented by our students and staff at BES! That's not all, either!! We have so many more places to explore with you. Come by, it is open house style from 6:30-7:30. We have a wonderful night of culture and learning planned for Tuesday, September 30th. Come by and learn about our student's cultures, play games, have snacks, and learn about what connects us all! Lots of prizes too!

It isn't too late to sign-up for our Blood Drive on tomorrow! See the link below!

Have a great week,

Cindy Apple, Principal

Attendance and School Calendar Attendance and School Calendar

Please take note of our school calendars when planning your family's vacations.

Attendance is a focus at BES and we want your children at school! It can be very difficult for students to get caught up sometimes when they miss for extended periods of time. For example, when a student misses a week of school, that is up to 450 minutes of math instruction they are missing!

If your family does have a trip planned, we do not provide lessons or materials ahead of those trips. Teachers will work with you to schedule times when your student can be given that instruction and guided work time to ensure mastery of skills. This may have to happen before or after school, but we will also try to work during the school day as well.

GREAT school habits now help prepare students for future success!
