Message from Your Admin Team
🖤🧡 Finishing Strong!🧡🖤
MHS Students, Families, and Staff,
We are officially past the 100th day of school, and it’s hard to believe how quickly this year is moving. As we head into the spring semester, we encourage all students to get involved in a spring activity, take pride in our campus, and continue finishing the school year strong by maintaining passing grades and demonstrating kindness and respect toward others.
We are excited for all that lies ahead, including the MHS Showcase, spring sports, FFA activities, prom, and, before we know it, graduation. These events reflect the hard work, talent, and commitment of our students and staff, and we look forward to celebrating them together as a community.
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for your continued engagement, support, and partnership. We appreciate all you do to make Marysville High School a positive and thriving place to learn. We look forward to a safe, fun, and successful second semester for everyone.
With gratitude,
The MHS Administrative Team

Blue Zone Update
Dear Parents and Staff,
As part of our partnership with Blue Zones Project Yuba-Sutter, we’re helping gather important wellbeing data as they complete Phase 1 of their community health initiative. One of the most meaningful ways you can contribute is by taking — or retaking — the RealAge® Test. Even if you’ve taken the RealAge Test in the past, everyone will need to create a new account for this phase of the project. This test takes about 15 minutes to complete.
As a thank-you for participating, anyone who completes the test will automatically be entered into a raffle prize.
Take the RealAge Test here: https://assessments.bluezones.com/registration
Use code: BZPYS
Your participation truly makes a difference as we support a healthier, happier Yuba-Sutter community. Thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to contribute.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Thank you!
ID Card UPDATE
ID cards will be delivered to you in a few weeks. Until then, download the 5star Students app on your phone. We use the app for all sorts of fun things on campus like voting for royalty, completing surveys, and signing up for events, but one of the best parts is the digital ID card that syncs to Aeries. This digital ID is as official as your physical school ID card. Please use the 5star ID for admission to events and athletic games until our physical IDs come in.
Leave of Grounds Pass
As a reminder, MJUSD has a closed campus policy. Campus is closed for all students, including during lunch and break. Students needing to leave campus during school hours must have a valid Leave of Grounds Pass.
UPDATE:
All fall semester Leave of Grounds Passes will be extended through the end of January to allow families time to complete spring renewals.
To renew a Leave of Grounds Pass for the spring semester, parents/guardians must contact the Attendance Office directly. Renewal is required each semester to ensure accurate records and student safety.
Please note:
-
Any student without a renewed Leave of Grounds Pass by February 1 will have their leave-of-grounds privileges revoked.
-
Students without a valid pass will be expected to remain on campus during the school day.
If you have questions or would like to renew your student’s pass, please contact the Attendance Office as soon as possible.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us maintain a safe and orderly campus.
Sincerely,
Marysville High School Administration

Our School
Established in 1871, Marysville High School is one of California’s first public high schools. Its War Memorial Stadium, built in 1949 to honor World War veterans, is a top venue for high school football. MHS has fielded a team for over 100 years. In 2017, the field was renamed Glen E. Harris Field in honor of Mr. Harris, who dedicated over 30 years to the community and served as a Marysville Joint Unified School District Board member. Go Indians! 🏈
