Circle Drive Reminders
Please follow these safety precautions in the circle drive:
- Drop off area - There is only one lane for "drop off and pick up." Do not attempt to pick up your child from the drive-through lane. This causes more congestion in the circle drive and is not safe. If there is not room in the circle drive, please park on the street and walk to get your child.
- Pull all the way forward to the end of the lane before dropping off or picking up children
- Students should enter and exit on the passenger side of the vehicle only
- Do not exit your vehicle! NO parking in the "drop off and pick up only" lane
- Right turn ONLY when exiting the Circle Drive
Parent Entry into the Building
Do not enter the doors where safety patrol members are stationed. This is for student entry only. The safety patrol members have been told not to let any adults enter the building. Please be respectful and set a positive example for our students by following this expectation.
If you need to check your child's locker or the Lost and Found, please do this after school when students are not present. Remember to check in at the Main Office first!
Thank you for your cooperation.
Care Solace
Royal Oak Schools has partnered with Care Solace, a care-coordination organization focused on removing barriers to accessing mental health care. The collaboration provides school district families and staff with access to over 560,000 licensed mental health and substance use treatment providers, and connections to food assistance, shelter support, and low-fee/free health services.
You can reach Care Solace in any of the following ways:
Call 888-515-0595 anytime. Multilingual support is available around the clock. A Care Companion will walk you through finding providers, booking appointments, and following up to ensure the match is right.
Visit www.caresolace.com/royaloakschools and either search on your own OR click “Need Help?” at the top of the page for assistance by video chat, email, or phone.
Ask your school's mental health professional or staff, or building administrator, to submit a referral for you.
Winter Weather Wear
Please make sure your child comes to school dressed and ready for outdoor recess. Unless temperatures or conditions are unsafe, our students will continue to enjoy fresh air and playtime outside.
Please send your child with:
Warm gloves or mittens
Winter coat
Hat
Boots
Snow pants
If your student or a child you know could use a few more warm layers, we can help. Send us a message with what you need.
