Dear Families,

As we close out September, I want to take a moment to thank you for a wonderful start to the school year! Our students have settled into their routines, learning is in full swing, and it has been a joy to see so much excitement and positive energy throughout our school.

October is right around the corner, and we have so many exciting events and opportunities ahead! From celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month to participating in special school-wide activities like UNITY Day and our Halloween Parade, there will be plenty of moments for our students to learn, grow, and have fun together. We’ll also continue to focus on respect, kindness, and making good choices each day.

Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are building a strong and vibrant school community. Let’s keep the momentum going as we step into a fun-filled October!

HELP WANTED!! 🏠

We invite all families to join and be active members of our Home and School Association! We are looking for Executive Board Members and Parent Volunteers to help support school initiatives and fundraising efforts. Without your support, many of the fun and exciting events we have planned for our children will not be possible.

CHESS Wizards is BACK!! 📆

We’re excited to announce that Chess Wizards is back! The Fall Session will begin on October 6, 2025 and run through December 1, 2025. Registration is open, but space is limited. Don’t miss the chance for your child to sharpen their critical thinking skills and have fun learning the game of chess! Students took home flyers on Monday. I have included a picture here for your reference.

PICTURE Day is HERE! 📷

Say cheese! Picture Day is coming up on Thursday, October 2nd. Be sure your child comes to school ready to smile for their school photos! Children took home picture day flyers last week! I have included a picture which details how to order in case you did not get your flyers!

Breakfast Reward! 🥞

As promised, there will be a Breakfast Reward for the students that completed and submitted BOTH the Summer Reading and Summer Math Packets! I was blown away by the number of completions we had this year!! While we did not achieve 100% completion, we made a huge improvement from last year's submissions.

I want to take the time to thank our families for ensuring that our children read and practiced essential literacy and numeracy skills that will undoubtedly support them this year! I am incredibly proud of everyone's efforts. If your child is one of the children that submitted both packets, they will be receiving an invitation to the breakfast next week!
