Boys golf won regionals up at Pelican Lakes in Windsor to advance to State as a team, for the first time since 2018. Justin Myers who came in 2nd at this tournament, Cameron Nicholson, Bode Truman, and Arjun Dhanoa will all be participating at State held in Grand Junction today and tomorrow. Good Luck!

The Varsity volleyball team played a strong match against Broomfield last week but ultimately lost in 3 sets. It was a strong offensive effort by Josie Price (12) and Ali Towns (10) who each had 7 kills. Anya Prater (11), Ali Towns, Bella Groelz (12), Josie Price, Lila Malia (12) and Sophia Stack (12) also combined for 16 total blocks, but it wasn’t enough to shut down Broomfield’s strong offense. The team also once again excelled at the service line, serving up 11 aces!

The JV team fought it out in 3 sets and emerged victorious, increasing their undefeated streak to 11-0!

The teams travel to Silver Creek on Tuesday but return home on Thursday, Oct 10, to play Legacy in their annual Pink Out match to support Breast Cancer awareness. In lieu of ticket sales, donations will be collected at the door to benefit a Superior-based breast cancer non-profit, J Will Pink Village. JWill Pink Village makes heart-shaped pillows that attach to the seatbelt to provide a barrier of comfort after a mastectomy. Since launching in 2017, over 7,600 of their special pillows have been distributed locally, as well as nationwide. PLEASE WEAR PINK and come out to cheer on your Coyote volleyball teams! C&D at 4:30, JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 6:30.

In essence, we're the wind beneath the wings of Monarch's diverse and talented student body. Our goal? To ensure that every student has the resources and support they need to pursue their interests, develop their skills, and shine bright in their chosen activities.

What Do We Do?

1. Bridge the Budget Gap: We're the financial superheroes for Monarch's clubs and activities! Last year, we granted over $36,000 to fill the space between budgets and actual needs. Think essential gear like tents/radios for the Mountain Bike Club, cutting-edge cameras for our budding journalists in Newspaper Club, and even pole vaults for our high-flying Track stars. When school budgets fall short, we leap into action!
   
2. Shower Seniors with Scholarships: $10,000 in scholarships last year – that's 10 lucky seniors getting a $1,000 boost!
3. Host Epic Tailgates: Buy a t-shirt, and you're in for a year of food, fun, and fantastic company!
4. Run 'The Cave': Your one-stop shop for Monarch spirit wear and game-day snacks.
5. Shout Student Success: We're the proud parent voice in newsletters and social media, celebrating every achievement.
6. Throw the Bash of the Year: Our annual Booster Bash is the talk of the town – cocktails, dinner, dancing, and auctions galore!
