Please take a few minutes to review the Fact Sheet, read the survey questions, review with other members of your household (if applicable), and complete the survey. For more information about the funding proposal, please visit Safer, Stronger 204.

Districts that receive federal IDEA grant funds are required to facilitate a needs assessment on an annual basis to all staff and parents who reside in the district. Please take a few minutes to complete a brief survey. All data obtained from this needs assessment will be used to structure future professional development needs and programming.

District 204 is in the process of determining the professional development needs related to Special Education for the 2024-25 School Year. We are asking parents of children with special needs to complete this survey.

Please complete one survey for each child you have with a disability. For example, if you have more than one child with a disability you would complete the survey for each child with a disability.

The results of the survey will help us to better understand your concerns and how we may address them during the school year. Your input on this survey is greatly appreciated, please submit your survey response by June 1, 2024. If you have any questions regarding this survey, please email christina_sepiol@ipsd.org.

Fry’s StoryWalk® is now on display in front of the school! The featured book is Plume World Explorer by Tania McCartney.

A StoryWalk® is a fun activity that engages families in literacy. Pages from a children’s book are displayed along a path at a park, neighborhood, or school. Families have fun reading aloud together and building children’s interest in reading while enjoying a walk.

The twelve Teen Summer DMVs will be open on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm starting THIS SATURDAY June 1 to August 31. This effort is part of the office’s modernization plan to reduce wait times and provide permits and driver’s licenses quickly and conveniently to fit with parents’ busy schedules.

The Teen Summer DMVs are located in Addison, Aurora, Bethalto, Belvidere, Bridgeview, Chicago West, Des Plaines, Elgin, Joliet, Lake Zurich, Plano, and St. Charles.

The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation would like to thank all of you in our IPSD 204 Community for your generous support in the 2023-24 school year! Because of your donations of time and resources, IPEF was able to help provide multiple district-wide enrichment programs including Teacher Innovation Grants, the Fine Arts Festival, Winter Holiday Concerts, Artists in Residence, E-Sports, and STEM Robotics. IPEF donated over $45,000 directly back to our schools through Team IPEF, funded mental health counselling for our middle school students, and provided over $30,000 in essential supports for our low-income and homeless students. Thank you all for supporting IPEF this year! We hope you have a safe and relaxing summer break.
