Hello Cardinal Community!!

A BIG SHOUT OUT to Jennifer Williams, our social worker for organizing such a fun and informative car seat safety week! She organized appearances from Captain Cone and Cubby, got the model car seat from Boston Children's Hospital so our students could practice buckling up, read stories to our classrooms about car seat safety and sent educational materials to our families who are car riders. It was a great week!

Thank you to all of our families taking car seat safety seriously! As I walked from car to car today during morning drop aff, almost every one of our Cardinal students were buckled into a car seat or booster seat. It really is one of the simplest things we can do to keep our children safe and secure. If children learn that the car does not move until they are safely buckled in, they learn to buckle really quickly! If you are in need of a car seat or booster seat please reach out to me. We received a few donations of booster seats from the Child Injury Prevention Program at Boston Children's Hospital. We were able to give them to families who needed one. Please keep buckling your children every time they ride in the car!
