Message from Principal Grebb:

Only 18 days until graduation, and the energy on campus is incredible! We’re in the middle of Advanced Placement testing, with our second week kicking off Monday, May 12. I continue to be impressed by the dedication of our teachers—they’ve gone above and beyond to hold prep sessions and encourage their students to get that "5". Senior Final exams start on Monday as well, good luck to all of our seniors finishing their last exams of High School.

As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to say with full confidence: we have the best teachers around. Their passion for education and their commitment to our students' success is truly unmatched.

On the athletic front, baseball and softball are still alive in the playoffs! We're excited to host the baseball playoff game tomorrow at Hendrickson at 1 PM. If you’re looking for some thrilling action, come out to the ballpark and cheer on the Hawks!

Senior Prom is also tomorrow night, and we are beyond excited to host the first-ever high school prom at Austin FC’s Q2 Stadium—it’s going to be an unforgettable night. Please drive safely to and from the venue.

And don’t forget—Sunday is Mother’s Day. To all the incredible moms out there: we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you for the love and support you give every day. Raising children in today’s fast-paced, social media-driven world is no small feat, and your efforts do not go unnoticed. Happy Mother's Day!!!

The Anonymous Alerts is an anti-bullying and safety app reporting system that helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. Social and peer pressure are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome. Students or parents can submit reports such as bullying, cyber bullying, depression, dating violence, drug or alcohol use, threats against the school, weapons on campus, and more.

The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between the submitters (students, parents, or community members) and District administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report.

We are changing photo companies for senior portraits and underclassmen pictures next year to Photo Texas. This change will include on campus senior portraits during the school day next fall. If you want to schedule an appointment at the studio, you can. Information will be coming soon about that. Our former company, Cady, has been sending out info about scheduling senior portraits. You do not need to schedule with them unless you want to use them for personal portraits. Sorry for any confusion on that.
