Also, make sure your information in PowerSchool is correct - our messaging system is finicky, plus we need to be able to call you if there is an emergency!

1. The more people we have sign up for the meal program the better!
2. The reduced meal has been waived. That means that if you qualify for reduced or free you will have free meals.
3. You would be surprised how much money you can make and still be eligible. Fill out the application and find out!
4. Students use their lunch number for everything - no one knows who has free, reduced, or full price lunch.
5. Save yourself some money - food prices are too high!
6. Every acceptance to the meal program nets our school more money under Title I funds.
7. Help us and help your family - sign up today!
8. It's estimated that half of the families that qualify for free meals don't apply - don't be that family!
9. Note: you will need your child's student ID# (look in PowerSchool or call the school if your child can't remember their number)
10. You can use the money you save for other things - everything is expensive nowadays!

*6th grade students cannot play football, but they can apply to Coach Hartsfield to be team managers (chrishartsfield@fcschools.net).

Workouts will run Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday during these weeks:

7/25-7/27

8/1-8/3

8/8-8/10

8/15-8/17

8/22-8/24

All workouts are scheduled for 5:30PM TO 7:00PM at the FMS football field (224 Rams Way, Franklinton)

• Wear clothes that are appropriate for working out
• Transportation is not provided

• Have a physical form filled out and handed in before team practices start.
• Sign the parent/student/FMS athletic contract and hand it in.
• Be academically eligible to play. That means that in the second semester (S2 in PowerSchools) of the 2022-2023 school year the student passed 3 out of 4 core classes (Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies). *incoming 6th grade students are exempt from this rule in their first semester only.

1. Go to one of the Chromebook fees events this summer (see the flyer below)
2. Pay the $10 fee and sign the paperwork
3. If you want to, pay the $26 fee and get the insurance/warranty so if your child breaks their Chromebook for any reason it will be covered by insurance.
4. YOU WILL NOT GET THE STUDENT CHROMEBOOK AT THE FEE EVENTS.
5. On the first day of school, all students who had the $10 fee paid and the paperwork signed will have their Chromebooks waiting for them in their homeroom or delivered to them by a person from the Technology Department.

ELA: Notebook, highlighters, and index cards, thin tip dry erase markers, sticky notes

Math: Notebook, thin tip dry erase markers, graph paper

Science: Notebook, lined paper, glue sticks,

Social Studies: Notebook, 3 ring binders

Every class: Pencils, Tissues, hand sanitizer, clorox wipes
