π March 2026 Newsletter π
Wishing you a blessed and hope filled Lent.
Message from the Admin Team
Dear St. Pius X Families,
As we continue the season of Lent, we focus on hope and preparing our hearts for Jesus. During Lent, we remember three important actions: praying, fasting, and giving to others. Students are learning about these in simple ways through prayer, helping others, and acts of kindness in their classrooms.
We were blessed to welcome many new and returning families to our Kindergarten Open House on February 24. If your child was born in 2021, they can begin kindergarten this September. Please register your child online at https://stpiusx.ecsd.net/register. If you missed the Open House, please call the school office and we will gladly arrange a visit.
We invite all parents to join our School Council. This group of dedicated volunteers supports our school through community building, offering ideas, and helping with activities throughout the year.
Our next School Council meeting is on Monday, March 9 at 6:30 pm, and all families are welcome to attend. Together, we are building a strong and caring St. Pius X community.
We are also looking forward to seeing you at our Demonstration of Learning on Thursday, March 19, from 12:45β4:45 pm and 5:30β7:00 pm. This is a special time for you and your child to visit the classroom together and see what they have been learning. Your childβs teacher will contact you with instructions on how to book your time. Please reach out to the teacher if you have any questions.
We encourage you to take a few moments to read Chief Superintendent Andersonβs March 2026 message, linked here. Superintendent Anderson shares a few examples of the truth, beauty, and goodness within our faith-filled community.
As we continue our Lenten journey, may this season bring your family peace, hope, and renewal. May we draw closer to Jesus through our prayers, acts of kindness, and care for one another.
Wishing you a blessed and hope filled Lent.
Mrs. Michele Wedemire, Principal & Mrs. Shelley Hillaby, Assistant Principal
