Dear Families,

As we prepare for Parent/Teacher Conferences, we wanted to share that we will activate our online scheduling system on Thursday, March 5th at 9:00 am until Monday, March 23rd, at 6:00pm. Conference window will be 3/16-3/24. If the scheduler is no longer available please contact your classroom teacher to schedule an appointment. To get to the Parent/Teacher Conference Scheduler please visit http://www.maplerun.org/o/satec and look for the Pick A Time link in the “Parent Links” section in the menu.

Register (new users):

1. Go to http://www.maplerun.org/o/satec and click on the Pick A Time link in the “Parent Links” section in the menu.

2. Fill in the required fields to register.

3. For each child the student ID will be their first and last name, enter their first and last name (ex. BenjaminFranklin) and their birthdate.

Sign In (returning users)

If you’ve previously registered, all you need to do is enter your email and password. The system will know about your appointments and the children you have added to your account.

Scheduling

1. Each colored square represents an available meeting time. The legend shows you which teacher corresponds to which color. (Note: you will not see all of the teachers at your school, just the set of teachers that your children have classes with.) Click on a square to book that time.

2. You will have the choice of setting a time when you would like a reminder email delivered.

3. Click “Create Appointment”.

Repeat until you have a time with each teacher you’d like to visit with.

• At any time you can click on “printable schedule” and print the resulting web page to get a hard copy of your schedule. You will also have the option to email your schedule to yourself.

• If you want to make changes to your schedule, you can log in at any time with the email address and password you used to create your account.

• Click on “Your Schedule” to display and hide your appointments. There will be links to change the time, or cancel the appointment.

Please note:

• If you would like to make an appointment with a teacher that is not listed for your child please contact them directly.

• Whitson's is switching to a new website platform for our menus beginning on March 1st. The new updated meal planner with all the dietary information can be found at www.fdmealplanner.com. We will continue to post the weekly menu in our announcements.

• Reminder to families: ALL STUDENTS are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunches through the rest of the school year.

Champlain Little League registration is now open to all children league age eligible, ages 5-12. Please visit our website at Champlain Little League > Home and follow us on Facebook, Champlain Little League, for spring clinics and player evaluation information.

Player evaluations for the 2026 season will be at the Complex on Saturday, March 28, 9AM-1PM.

Though player evaluations are not mandatory, they are a great opportunity for players to get exposure to Champlain Little League in preparation for the regular season.

We are pleased to share that Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026–2027 school year at Maple Run Unified School District.

Kindergarten Eligibility

Children must be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2026, to enroll in Kindergarten.

If Your Child Is New to Maple Run (and not currently enrolled in an Act 166 preschool program)

Please complete the full registration process as soon as possible.

Step 1: Complete the School Interest Form

Once your form is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email with instructions to create a Parent Portal account.

Step 2: Complete Kindergarten Enrollment Forms

Log in to the Parent Portal, select your student, and complete all required Kindergarten forms.

• Use your existing username and password

• If needed, select “Forgot Password.”

• If you cannot access your account, please contact registrar@maplerun.org

• If you would like to add your incoming Kindergartener to an existing PowerSchool account, please email registrar@maplerun.org

Timing Matters

We are so excited that Magic the Gathering is BACK!!!!! Join this club led by Mr. Goodland.

The number of participants for this club is capped at 20 participants.

Drama will meet Monday and Thursday from 3:15-4:45 - Production day is less than a month away. It is hard to believe that April 10th is the production date.

It is a busy week for SATEC Volleyball. Matches and Pictures.

We will have pictures for players in Grades 7 and 8 on Wednesday, March 18th. These will be at the end of the 8th Grade practice and prior to the start of the 7th Grade Matches. Players should all bring their uniforms on this day. Picture envelopes will be handed out on Monday.
