Nike Weekly Scout Report

We have 8.5 school days left before Fall Break, and there is a lot happening between now and then!

Next week, we will honor our veterans with our Veterans Day Program on Wednesday, November 11. On November 12, we will also have an early dismissal at 1:10 p.m. and Parent-Teacher Conferences that evening. We appreciate all of our families who take the time to partner with our teachers during conferences.

📚 Nike PTO Meeting — Monday, November 16 at 4:00 p.m.
Join us in the Nike Library. We would love to see more of our Nike families involved!

🎈 Balloons Over Broadway — Friday, November 20
We are doing things a little differently this year! Families will NOT need to create a project at home. Instead, students will create their own projects during Class Families on the morning of November 20. We are excited to see what our students come up with!

🎅 Snowballs with Santa — Thursday, December 4 | 5:30–7:00 p.m.
I am VERY excited to share that Nike PTO is bringing back Snowballs with Santa as an evening family event! There will be a large variety of fun activities for families to enjoy together. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us!

PTO is currently looking for donations for grade-level baskets, the bake sale, and other event needs. If you would like to help, please attend the PTO meeting on November 16 or reach out directly to PTO at austinorf1@gmail.com.

Would you love to spend some time at Nike Elementary and make your Scout’s day? We would LOVE to have you!

Our WatchDOG program isn’t just for dads! Moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, guardians, and other family members are all welcome to volunteer! The only requirement is that you have an MVR-III background check on file.

You can volunteer for part of the day or the entire day — we are happy to work with your schedule! Every minute you share with us makes a difference in the lives of our Nike Scouts.
