The CMOH exists to help those in need toward the goal of self-sufficiency. CMOH provides tangible help, through food and hygiene products, as well as compassionate mentorship for the social, physical, financial and spiritual needs of local individuals and families. They feed over 500 families in Temecula a month.
They need your help restocking the food pantry!
The mission of the City of Temecula's Responsible Compassion program is to further improve the quality of life by developing residents', businesses', and visitors' awareness, understanding, and participation in a comprehensive strategy to solve homelessness in our community. The Temecula HELP Center acts as a service center for a number of projects. There is a need for hygiene kits for men and women to be distributed by Temecula's Help Center. Drop off your items and we'll place them in ziploc baggies to be distributed to the community as needed through the Help Center.
Their goal is to bridge collective bodies of faith within the communities together with civil and business organizations to overcome homelessness and establish effective methods of homeless prevention. Their current programs include transitional housing, a local winter emergency shelter, a police response program, direct emergency assistance, a community food program, a resource referral center, and a thrift store.
TOYS FOR TOTS (Spark of Love) SoCal Firefighters
The City of Temecula Fire Department is continuing to run their Spark of Love toy drive in connection with Toys for Tots. They partner with non-profit and charity organizations to fill toy requests. They also work with school districts like ours to provide toys to everyone in need. With the increased need for gifts this holiday season they're looking for the help of the community. They'll take new and unwrapped toys or sports equipment for any age group.
