Our 2023-2024 vision

At Dallas Ranch, we will:

· Increase Scholar engagement

· Reduce discipline referrals

· Increase academic gains

· Increase College and career-readiness

· Heighten teacher satisfaction and retention

Our Mission:

Dallas Ranch Middle School will be a school of excellence; strongly connected in the community where students achieve their full potential academically. We will focus on students’ positive character development so students are prepared for success in high school, college, and careers. We want students to make positive contributions to the community.

At Dallas Ranch Middle School:

Ø We believe that ALL members of the school community: students, parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff must model good character by displaying trustworthiness, respectfulness, responsibility, fairness, caring, and positive citizenship.

Ø We are a place that values diversity, where students are active participants and feel a sense of belonging and pride. Aviators learn to be responsible for the success of themselves and others.

Ø Students understand the importance of learning and have a desire to achieve to the best of their ability. They receive support in their academic endeavors and learn to be critical thinkers.

Ø Aviators are well-rounded individuals with opportunities to develop their bodies and minds through sports, clubs, electives, and other extra-curricular activities.

Attendance Corner

Everyday in School Matters! When students attend today, they achieve tomorrow!

According to statistics, regular attendance is the first step in academic success, and it is vital that your children attend their classes each day. Also, attendance is the top indicator of being on track for graduation and for college and career readiness. If students are missing 10 percent, or about 18 days of the school year can drastically affect a student’s academic success. So as you can see, attendance can impact everything, and is one of our top priorities so your children have multiple opportunities to succeed at school and beyond.

By working together, we can help all children get to school every day so they have an opportunity to learn, flourish and realize their dreams.

School Rules!

At Dallas Ranch our students are Ready to Learn, Respectful, and Responsible. Every now and then we must redirect them and help them to focus on academics. Below are some of our school rules that we ask you to remind your student to follow. This helps us keep our campus clean and safe.

* Cell phones and air pods should be turned off and put away during class time. If the electronic device is out during class, it will be confiscated. The first time is a warning and it will be returned at the end of the day. The second time and beyond, the student's parent will be called and asked to pick up the device.

* When riding a bike or skateboard to school, we ask that students walk it once they are on campus. This is a safety issue when student ride on our campus.

* Profanity and general defiance toward DRMS staff is never allowed.

* Eat lunch and snacks in the cafeteria only.

* Door Dash is not allowed for students.

*Throw trash in the proper trash receptacle.

* No selling of personal items, candy, or treats on campus.

Together, we can make Dallas Ranch Middle School an amazing campus!

Attention!

Please remind your student/s not to loiter at local businesses after school. It can be a safety issue.
