FAVE Summer Updates

Mark your calendars for Device Pickup and Open House.

Our device and supply pickup will be on July 31st at Sandy Springs Charter Middle School in Sandy Springs and Teaching Museum South in Hapeville. ALL students will need to plan to attend and pickup the required school issued device.

Our open house will be virtual and hosted through Microsoft Teams. An email with the links will be shared with parents closer to the date and posted on our website.

The FAVE administrative team is working over the summer to move our buildings to our new locations. We hope to be fully moved into our new offices by mid-October. Please continue to call or email to schedule any in-person drop-ins at 470-254-6570 or fave@fultonschools.org.

Students will join class in a new way this school year. Please see directions below for specifics.Class is a meeting location for students housed right inside of Canvas courses!

First, students will see a calendar invite inside of their Outlook and/or Teams calendars. There will no longer be a join button. Students will need to double click the calendar invite to open.

Students will need to click on the link inside of the calendar invite to quickly access their class meeting inside of Canvas.

Students may be prompted to login. Click the student login button and enter your student ID and password.

Click on the join class button. Students may not be admitted into class until the teacher has joined and opened class.

Please note, you may receive a settings pop-up. Please click 'Allow on every visit' to enable the microphone and camera for class.

Students will have access to similar meeting options as they do in Teams with some additional enhanced options that we will review in class and through FAVE TV.
