RES - Updates for Next Week

Track or Treat is coming up on Tuesday from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. We cannot wait to see all of the fun costumes!

Please keep the candy donations coming... The contest is really heating up! There is also still time to sign up to decorate a spot around the track. Click here to do that! We now have 33 volunteers who are decorating a spot.

The night of the Track or Treat our Scholastic Book Fair will be open and there will be goodies for sale to purchase!

*If you signed up to decorate a spot around the track, please come between 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM to set up. It will be so great to see all of the creative spots that are decorated. You may potentially drive your vehicle into a spot if a close spot is available. We just have to be careful about the playground equipment and some of our geothermal wells. Please be sure to bring a table as they will not be provided.

The Scholastic Book Fair begins next week, October 26th to 30th. Please refer to the paper that has been sent home for your child’s shopping day and time (note that it may not be the day or time your child regularly has Library).

This year we are welcoming parents to shop with their child during their class’s designated shopping time. We will also be open during PTA’s Track or Treat event on Tuesday, October 27th from 5:30-6:30pm.

Our 2nd Annual Turkey Trot Fundraiser is underway! The actual Turkey Trot will take place on Friday, November 20th. We are seeking to raise funds for new walkie talkies for overall school communication, student and staff supplies, and student and staff incentives. (We will send more information about the actual event closer to that time inviting you to come to school to participate with your child at the grade level designated time.)

About Our Fundraiser

Fundraiser packets have been sent home with everyone. There was a letter explaining our fundraiser, a paper with a QR Code for online donations, a form to send in email addresses for friends and family to school by today - but we will take late submissions(School staff will send the information to your friends and family members so they can donate online for you if you so choose.), a form to keep track of donations, and a collection envelope for cash donations due on or before November 20th. 1st School-Wide Contest - Email Addresses for Friends & Family Members

So far, Mrs. Dudrow's class is in the lead for sending back forms with email addresses of family and friends. Please keep those forms coming. We appreciate your support throughout our fundraiser!

Business Sponsorships Needed

BCS is asking families and staff members to complete a Digital Device Use Survey. This survey information will help inform the ongoing conversations about the role of technology in teaching and learning and how to best support student success.

The survey will close on Friday, October 28.
