Parents of 8th graders and seniors, please remember to have your students' vaccinations completed. The state of Missouri requires that all students are immunized before the start of the school year or have medical or religious exemptions on file with the school. Please have this completed and send a copy of the updated vaccine record to the school nurse. If you have questions, please contact Nurse Amy as soon as possible.
The dental van will make its first visit on September 3rd. If you are interested in your child being seen by the HCC dentist, please contact Nurse Amy for further information. They come twice a year for cleanings and many times in between for dental issues (fillings and extractions).
Our dental screening with Dr. Rich and fluoride treatment will be on October 1st. Permission forms were sent home last week. All elementary students will be screened and given fluoride unless parents have specified differently on the form. Students will receive a second treatment of fluoride in the spring.
