Attention: Parents of students 8 years and younger

We wanted to share an important update regarding student transportation for field trips. Beginning January 1, 2025, the State of Colorado requires all children to use a car seat or booster seat until they reach 9 years of age. In alignment with this regulation, St. John’s School requires students in this age range to use a booster seat for all school-sponsored field trips.

We kindly ask parents and guardians to ensure their children come prepared with a properly fitted booster seat when participating in field trips. Our commitment to the safety and well-being of our students remains a top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us meet this standard.

Thank you for your partnership and support as we continue to provide safe and joyful experiences for our students. Please feel free to reach out to Cara Benton with any questions or concerns.

The Coins have been Counted: Pennies vs. Silver

The coins have been counted, and the results are in! We're thrilled to share that a total of $775.96 was raised for Love India during our annual coin game as part of National Lutheran Schools Week!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, contributed, and made this event such a success. Your generosity and school spirit have made a meaningful impact.

Special congratulations to the 6th grade class, who brought in the most coins and have earned a well-deserved special day at school!

While the 6th graders are celebrating their victory, the biggest winner is Love India, and we are delighted to partner with this remarkable organization to bring hope and support to those in need.

Thank you again for making this effort possible and for being part of something truly special!

Art Helpers Needed

In preparation for our Spring Auction, our Art Teacher, Sherrie Stewart, will be guiding our students in creating collaborative art projects that will be featured in our silent auction. These projects will be completed during class time, alongside their regular art curriculum and individual assignments.

To make this possible, we are seeking a volunteer to lend an extra set of hands and eyes to help Sherri manage these wonderful projects. No art experience is necessary—just a willingness to assist and enjoy the creative process with our students!

If you’re interested in volunteering, please visit the Sign-Up Genius to secure your spot.

Thank you for helping make our Spring Social a success—we couldn’t do it without your support!
